AFE shorty headers-sketchy

So I just had my headers installed at a shop owned by a former Flowmaster employee in Santa Rosa. For some reason the guy said that he had to cut the y pipe and add a piece before the cat to make it fit because it was not fitting. Then he goes on to tell me that he also had to cut a notch in the header, it was late at night my truck was outside already waiting for me and I haven’t been able to take a good look at it or get it on a lift so can somebody please send me pictures of their AFE headers installed up at the block including y pipe if stock. Thanks in advance

No I’m looking for any review before pulling trigger but haven’t found much.

Shorty headers generally aren't going to be worth anything powerwise. I'd only consider them if I had an out of warranty cracked exhaust manifold
