AFE Magnum Force 2 CAI Question.

Has anyone experiencing AFE Magnum force stage 2 filter falling out of the hose/housing? I been reattaching my filter every month to 1.5 month and it’s been getting really annoying as summer is here and there’s going to a lot of dust and debris.

Very unsatisfied with AFE’s support and attitude as they’re stating this is within their design.

Edge of filter rubber to edge: 6 inches
Edge of the housing to edge:6 inches and a bit
In between flange (which locks the filter on the housing) measures a bit under 6 inches…

Does anyone have a solution to this? I have tried degreasing the connecting area and it’s still the same.

Do you have the clamp that holds filter on the tube? I'm not seeing it in the picture. I ran AFE before on previous vehicles and never an issue.

Yes of course! I have it clamped lol. Not too tight. Not to loose as the AFE tech stated.

Here’s a couple of pictures. The flange went inside the housing, about to be loose.

Picture was just for measurements to show AFE. No luck and poor response time. They literally replies 1 email a day. Looking to change to Volant CAI (or Corsa, which is the same)

After a whole month of back and forth emailing. AFE finally issued a warranty on the housing.

It is not a pleasant experience but I’m glad everything got resolved. Just matter of time when this housing will arrive now!
