I just have the search based ads I guess. And the site vendors. Looks like you might be on mobile though, I was going strictly off desktop

Firefox for Android at least supports add ons and thus add blockers in turn.
That ad is A+
Not calling out anyone specifically, and this would apply more to HDRAMS as there seems to be more issues there, but the thought just occurred to me that if you block ads, you forego the right to complain about site performance.
Just saying.

Can't complain about free stuff
I could say that if my posts generate traffic from searches from Google that those suckers I mean people click on generate ad revenue.

We get a lot of complaints on HDRAMS (and rightly so) and I can almost guarantee most of them are running ad blockers.
That said darksteeel does have a valid point that if you contribute meaningful info, that too can generate clicks.

It's not ALWAYS just clicks. Sometimes "views" can generate too, but clicks weigh more.
It depends on the ad platform I think.
That's kind of a bummer.
This day and age is very hard\weird to keep things a float as people are so used to free services (which are not really free) because they don't understand the cost, lots of time results in selling your information to profit.
Facebook is a great example of something free, but far from it but most people (not me) are okay with it and just think it's a required evil.
If you just said we are going to charge $1 a month to view these forums you would lose probably 90% viewership even though everyone here could sacrifice $1 a month, wouldn't do so.
Basically need to live on people "donating" and ad revenue which is not a lot. There is no good solution for then problem.
Facebook isn’t free. You’re trading your data for the use of their platform. They have a bunch of digital info on each user that they maipulate in various fashion to make money.

Sorry about that, I did miss four very important words. Me being hammered and trying to read did not work out last night. I would like to leave that as an quick explainer to those who might have no idea.
It's the same thing with pretty much every search engine used. Or, for that matter, most websites with a search feature.
