Adjustable Pedals - Both gas and brake pedals move together?

Last weekend, my wife drove my truck (2022 BH 1500) around and tried moving the pedals forward but only the gas pedal was moving forward. I called the dealership and they told me that this is normal... only the gas pedal moves. WTF? I never noticed, because I never had to adjust them forward, but I would think both should move. So for those of you with adjustable pedals, do both move or just the gas pedal? It just doesn't make any sense to me if only one of them moves.

I just checked mine on my 2020 and both of them move.
