Hello all,

I know this has been talked about a ton on other forums but I want to know if it’s worth 200+ for an adjustable hitch. I have 2 trailers 21 foot center console and 6x12 box trailer. After measuring to the top of my receiver it was 19.75 inches from the ground. Should I just get a 50$ 2 inch drop and call it a day and be sorta level or invest into the adjustable?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

My local farm supply has 0” to 6”drop hitches with balls for $20-30. Get the right one for each trailer. That’s what I’ve done for my utility trailer, tandem trailer (2”) and boat trailer (4”).

Spend the $ and get yourself a good adjustable hitch. It's a night and day difference in ride quality and the rear end of your truck will thank you. If anything, I like to tow a little high of level in the front of the trailer to put more of the weight back onto the trailer axles. Since you don't have load leveling on your Big Horn, it will minimize squat on your truck also. Be sure you pick yourself up some locking pins for your hitch, too. If you drive around with that thing on the back of your truck without a trailer even just a little bit, i guarantee you someone will snatch it.
