Adding some extra lights?

With 9 months out of the year being pretty dark in my part of the world I am looking into perhaps adding some extra lights. Any one added any yet or looked into this? Placement, mounts, shape, size?

Perhaps it is possible to cut out for a bar in the lower black grille, in between the parking sensors?

As I haven't got my truck yet - any one know if it is possible - what hides behind that - and the measurements in between the sensors and the height of the grille?

I am going to take my Smittybilt lightbar off my 2014 Outdoorsman and put it on my Rebel when it gets here. It mounts where the front licence plate mounts so it should be just below the sensors.
