Installed last night side steps for my Rebel that I purchased last weekend. I’m digging this Rough Country side steps. It has been raining here....reason for dirt

Purchased for $400 off Amazon.....I’m 6 ft. 300 lbs. and there is no give....very happy.

Took about 30 minutes total to install once everything was unpacked and laid out.

I replaced washers and nuts with galvanized.

Key was having an electric drill with deep socket....saved a ton of time!

That’s funny as I’m 6’2” and 280lbs and I love how my Amp steps give a little but I never feel my size is a burden on it. :)
I've actually purchased the rear Amp Bed Step for under bumper install. I am having a spray in bed liner put in this week....they said they would install for free.....so I said...go ahead!

Congrats on the purchase. Just in case you haven’t seen this rebate.

Make sure you go file for this additional rebate. Seems like they have been having problems with vin numbers being in the system so you have to call them so they send you the actual app. Do it within 60 days of purchase. Many of us have already received our checks. No strings attached.

The only qualification is that “someone in your household” must have a non-FCA vehicle.

Went with the Nfab Epyx bars. I wanted something that would fit up close and hopefully help cut down on the rock chips. I work out in W Texas and on lease roads every day. IMG_7839.PNG IMG_7836.jpg

Bighorn, will get a picture for you. Mr. Barry coming through tomorrow and I will see if I can get a picture before weather gets to bad.
They do work well as a step, biggest thing is to remember to use them. I had truck for about 3 weeks and was jumping in and sliding out. I know over time it will start wearing edges of seat out.

Those look incredible with the two-tone paint! Nice job! I'm going to probably swap mine out, not a big fan of the Stainless/chrome look

Do they work well as a step? Could you pay a pic of the whole truck? Really interested in these
Barry just came through early this morning, so she's not cleaned up:(
The steps are in the right spot and do really help getting in and out. Thanks
These are the Nfab Epyx

I have the same ones. 6’5” 250lbs. I sometimes hear a subtle creaking on the drivers side but I forget to use the steps half of the time, anyway. I used stainless washers. Probably should go back and replace the nuts it came with to avoid rust. That slipped my mind upon installation. Was confused as to why they didn’t include washers.

As far as the step goes, I can’t balance on them. Too small of a step. They are perfect for the girlfriend though, which is why I put them on in the first place.

Where did you find galvanized m-8 1.25 lock nuts lol
Home Depot doesn’t carry them. Neither does my local hardware. Thanks.
