Until I get the how-to together... anyone who is interested in this mod, you can get a jump start by collecting the needed hardware... These can be ordered new or they can be sourced thru eBay, CL, this FORUM, take outs from local radio shops, and etc.

Parts needed to mod the 5.7 Base 6 w/ANC to the 5.7 Alpine 9 w/sub ---
Amp -- 68312241AD qty 1
Front Door Spks -- 5064358AB qty 2
3.5 Dash and Rear Upper Spks -- 68423513AA qty 5
Alpine Sub -- 68277288AB qty 1

**AlfaObd for the proper BCM changes...

I will definitely be doing this mod so all the info would help and I am grateful. Which head unit do you have or did you go with.

Sorry I should have mentioned... I have the 8.4 non nav but this mod should work on any 8.4 or 12.1 ...
3 changes with Alfa is all that it takes to go from base6 to alpine9 once the hardware is in place...
