It’s a good 2+ inched taller than the 285/45/22s that came with my truck 6K miles ago, but rides great and there’s only a slight rub in the front (on both sides) at full lock. I think it’s my mud guards. I’ll investigate more when i get a chance, but it’s not that important to me because I try to avoid turning the wheel all the way to either end.

Haven’t gone on the highway yet, but they are completely silent at city speeds (like the OEM tires they replaced).

Here are some pics.

Are those stock rims? Like to find a used pair of the black 22’s for a decent price. Slowly dechroming my Limited.

Yes, those are the stock Laramie Night Edition 22" x 9" wheels.

The 285/55/22 size looks nice. I'm contemplating Toyo Open Country A/T III'S, which are available in both 285/55/22 LT (63 lbs) and 305/45/22 XL (48 lbs).

The 285 is a taller tire and probably looks better (subjective) but I'm having a hard time justifying the ride compromise that comes with the 10 ply tire weighing 15 lbs more per tire vs. the 4 ply XL tire.

99.5% if my driving is paved Florida roads.
