Adaptive Cruise Control Question

Does anyone know if the brake lights come on when using the adaptive cruise control and the system automatically brakes the truck?

I used the ADCC this morning for the first time. It worked flawlessly. And I'm assuming when the system braked the truck, the lights came on to alert the drivers behind me.

Thanks.

Owner's manual indicates they do.

Steve

Thanks, Stevj. I should have read that part of the owner's manual. I really didn't like the idea of adaptive cruise control taking that much control of my truck, but after trying it out, I can see using it on interstate drives, etc. It worked really well. What will they come up with next? Completely self-driving vehicles? Oh, wait . . .

Yes sir they do and I'm not recommending it but the breaks also get applied on a trailer when you approach a vehicle.
