Having had both a 25 Lonestar and currently a 25 Limited I can tell you they are worlds different. Lane keep assist is just a suggestion that you need to steer, and will nudge you. There is no keeping you centered, rather if you're lucky it will nudge hard enough to steer sort of back in the opposite direction of the drift.
The ADAS on the Limited is a true keep you centered in the lane and will steer itself. Now that being said it's using the same adaptive cruise control module and a camera below the rear view mirror to do this, however it's the same as the Full ADAS. You can set the basic ADAS and keep tapping the wheel to keep it green (it will turn amber and eventually red with audible warnings if you stay off the wheel too long). Would I trust it to drive for me, absolutely not! Does it help when on long monotonous drives to keep things moving along, definitely!
The easiest way to tell if you have full or basic ADAS on a limited or RHO is too look for the eye camera bump on the steering wheel (it extremely obvious once know what to look for). In my humble opinion of the price difference is a couple of thousand I'd go for the Full ADAS, but more than that it's a personal call at best. If it's a tungsten, those all have Full ADAS standard.
I hope that at some point either comma .AI comes out with the full hands free system for the 25 plus, or someone figured out the Atlantis High CAN network and we can start adding those systems to our trucks for a reasonable amount. Again that will require the additional external and internal cameras as well as the BCM and Modules so maybe that's wishful thinking on my part .
