Active Air Shutter

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn with the plain 5.7.
Wanting to have it set up to flat tow behind Motorhome. Dealer asked if I have the active air shutter?

I looked under truck just behind bumper and do not see anything. My question is which trucks come with the active air shutter?

You're combining two different systems. Active air dam and active grille shutters. I believe all Hemi's have the active grille shutters, but not all 5th gen 1500's have the active air dam. For flat towing, it's the active air dam you need to be concerned about. You don't have the active air dam if you don't see it sitting directly behind the fixed air dam that's mounted to the front bumper.

No the MH dealer. After watching install videos on etrailer.com I do not have the active air dam and will install my own baseplate.
