I know that in accessory mode there is a delay where the truck will automatically shut the Ignition off after a preset amount of time. Will it also do this with the Ignition in the on position?

I'm trying to figure out a way to power a small household fan while I'm camping overnight with the inverter that's built into the truck but I don't want to leave my engine running all night.

I may run some kind of a dual battery set up so that I can drain one of them and still start the truck the next morning. But I guess none of this matters if the Ignition will not leave the inverter running all night.

I used to have a marine battery with an inverter that I brought camping to power stuff like that and just threw it on a charger when I got back home.

It will turn off after 20min in Run mode(engine not run).

+1 on this. You definitely don't want to power a fan like that all night on your main battery. Just buy a second battery. I used to bring a second battery and inverter with me to power a small TV, blender, small crock pot, while tailgating at UF football games.

OK so that sounds like a better idea. I saw a 100 watt solar kit at Harbor Freight today. Says it'll output nearly 7 amp-hours. That should keep a deep cycle 12V battery charged. Then I can just run my inverter off the deep cycle battery all night with my fan and lights. Free power!
