Ac/heater malfunction when 8.4 swapped out

I swapped out my uconnect 3 for the 8.4 and everything worked except my heater was on full blast and I couldn’t change the temp or speed. Anyone have this issue when making the exchange?

The new screen has AUTO ac settings, Right?
Did you program the new ICS?
