Absurd Map Update Situation

So I've been getting these promotional emails from U-Connect for several weeks/months now, pestering me to upgrade my maps. It's a 2019 with the original maps, and a lot of roads have changed around here since then, so I figured I'd pop for the "savings" and do the upgrade.
I follow the directions and get my Application Version punched in, and it takes me to a web page that says my update is "out of stock".
Seriously!? If it's out of stock, then why keep bombarding people with emails urging us to upgrade? I put in my email to be notified when it's back in stock, but I'll bet when it does come in - it will be at full price. I called U-Connect customer service, the CS associate seemed like this was perfectly normal.

Sorry, had to vent!
