I'm kinda new and get lost on most of the abbreviations used. Guess all can do is Google it??

Abbreviations and acronyms are just a part of life. I'd expect anyone who's been around as long as you have would know that. Regardless, you can find the meaning of most acronyms and abbreviations by doing an internet search, as you mentioned. If that fails you can always just ask. I can't speak for everyone here but most of us don't bite too hard.

Younger generations don't understand we were driving before computers, cell phones, video cameras lol. When my phone is screwed up my grand kids fix it. Don't get me wrong I'm all for hi tech I love it, it's great this generation gets it but I'm trying to catch up.....

TLA’s (Three Letter Acronyms) have been a part of my life for over 40 years. Probably because I worked with or for government agencies since I was 20. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t think he is saying that he hasn’t heard of acronyms before or that they shouldn’t be used. I think he is just wondering if there is a list someone specific to this forum.

I use acronyms plenty but I still have to look up some on here.

So speaking of TLAs Anyone have a opinion of the BMFs for a 1500?

Ha Ha seriously I'm looking for opinions on the Best Mud Flaps for the Ram 1500. Seem to be a few out there.any suggestions??

We went with the Mopar rubber mud flaps, but it really depends on how you use your truck and the look you’re going for. It also makes a difference whether or not you have fender flares.

I really don't do a lot of off road stuff. Pull my trailer on the beach of lakes and deep sand bushes etc. getting to good fishing camping The look? Well I wanna look like a hard off roader lol. In north CA lots of rain mostly dirty rain water pebbles covering the sides of the truck. Living my missed teenager years. I'll check out Mopar thanks

We wanted rubber and not molded plastic in case we took the truck off-road. I’ve read about people ripping the molded ones off when off-road where the rubber ones are more pliable. Pretty sure these are what I went with, but it’s been more than five years since I bought them…

I don't think my truck has fender flares although it says I do. Anyone got a pic?1000000481.jpg

Yeah they’re pretty understated lol
So I looked up the URL (abbreviations lol) and says doesn't fit 2025 1500 Bighorn. Maybe yours not a 25. But really like the flaps I think rubber is the way to go. Thanks
