I was wondering that since everything under the hood is radically different in the new 3 litre sixes, vs the old 5.7 V8.............what real owners think of their A/C performance, now that hot weather is upon us.? As many know, the A/C in the 5th Gen V8s is often marginal, and often inferior when coming from a different brand, like Ford for example. May posts on this forum confirm my experience . I did install the ball valve in the heater hose, and it has greatly improved mine to where I would rate it "good". So I am wondering with a fresh sheet design, did they improve the A/C to where it is no longer a topic?

I can’t speak in comparison to previous generations but we’ve had no issues and it was flirting with 100F this week in KC.

I live in the Phoenix Metro area and the new A/C is NOT an issue at all to me.

Just drove our truck home from Texas in 100 degree weather and the A/C worked great.

String of 90 degree days, never a concern. Works great.

AC has been great on my ‘25 SST SO. 19’s and 20’s had the blend door issue. I would clamp the heater hose off during the summer on my ‘19 to get the AC colder. No issues on the new truck.

The A/C in this 2025 Limited Longhorn with the SST HO is much better than my old 2021 Laramie with the 5.7 Hemi. I'm in Texas and it gets hot here.

I had several 4th and 5th gen Ram 1500s, never felt that the A/C was inadequate. I live in Missouri, and we have hot and humid summers.
I bought a 2025 a few weeks ago and we just had a few warm days, and the A/C works the same as in my previous trucks.
