a/c kicked on by itself when raining...???

so going home yesterday and my a/c was off..it was raining and my auto wipers well "autoed" but I also noticed the a/c kicked in, but no light was on. does my limited do this automatically when it senses rain or was this a fluke.

Not sure, maybe it's to help keep the windshield defogged? Here in South Louisiana, my A/C is always on, so I would never know if this happens

If you had the climate on Auto, then yes, it will cycle the AC as needed.

auto mode was not on....must be a possible issue...

Just install the AC hack. It will fix the possible issue.

Did you have the vent mix set to defrost or mix defrost? (Not the rear window defrost).
