Can't imagine pulling a 7000# trailer with a bumper ball. My Iron Bull weighs 7000# dry and is a short tail. When I have them load, I have them load over the axles and try to keep from adding too much tongue weight. Fortunately I am a short distance from the gravel pit, and mostly use our old F250., but have use the RAM a few times.
