6” lift with 18” wheels?

I currently have 18x9 -12 wheels on my ‘21 Ram.
I love my wheel setup and they’re brand new, so I’d really HATE to have to start over.

All the 6” lifts say 20” or larger wheels. has anyone had success making a 6” lift work with 18s?
I’m wondering if offset / spacers could make it possible.

BDS 6” kit says:

• Tire & Wheel Combinations
• 37" x 12.50" w/18x9 and 4.5-5" back spacing
• 37" x 12.50" w/20x9 and 4.5-5" back spacing
• *Trimming may be required*

-12 on a 9” wide wheel puts you at 4.5” backspacing, so you should be good.

I did the BDS 6" with 18" wheels. Details in the signature line. No trimming with my set up
