Yesterday marked one year since 5thGenRams was launched

We are proud to announce that we have reached our first milestone, yesterday marked 1 year since the launch of 5thGenRams. Early on we brought you tons of spy photos and video, predicted such things as the 4×4 off-road package among many other features, displayed the Livestream of the reveal and, posted many exclusive photos from NAIAS while covering the whole launch in detail.

Then head of Ram Brand, Mike Manley unveiling the 2019 Ram 1500 at the North American International Autoshow (5thGenRams Photo)

We have grown our Forum to almost 5,000 members making us the single largest 5th Gen Ram specific community on the web. Our forums are also full of excellent information that has helped people avoid some common, not well-known ordering issues (losing the 360 degree surround view camera with the tow mirrors) etc.

We worked with our dealer friends to provide reviews on some various trim levels, Ram invited us out to Lexington, Kentucky where we drove the eTorque equipped Ram 1500s at their media event.

2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn 4×4 Off-Road (5thGenRams)

We broke the news about 2 higher performance Rebels coming, not just the HELLCAT supercharged TRX, but a Rebel TR which is to be powered by a 426CI Naturally Aspirated V8. That story ended up on everything from Fox News, Maxim, to Motortrend and everywhere in between. We have also posted up Rebel TR/TRX spy photos.

Throughout the year we also launched Moparinsiders.com (the fastest growing Mopar site) and after covering the upcoming 2019 Ram HDs extensively here when we realized that they were going to be more of a refreshed version of the current trucks we created HDRams.com. This will help to eliminate confusion and in the end, we believe it makes more sense to have a separate site for the Heavy Duty trucks going forward.

The most important thing is that we have to thank you, our readers and forum members. Without you, none of this would have been possible. Thank you for trusting us to be your source of news and information. I am very proud of everything that we have done here and the awesome community that we have created in the forums and all the members and hard working moderators that are a part of that.

Moving forward we have a lot of exciting things in the works, we will be at both the North American International Autoshow in Detroit in January as well as the Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto in February. We plan on doing a lot more, higher quality, in-depth video content as well as a few other things we are working on.

Thank you all for all of your support, we look forward to another exciting year!
