My truck has been at the dealership for 3 weeks now getting repairs on minor damage due to a vehicle striking the driver side, every time I contact the dealer I get told something else. They said I had $7,200 worth of damage to the truck and that I should have had it back today October 4th 2019. I called the body shop and they still won’t give me an eta on when I can pick it up. (mind you I haven’t had a vehicle for 3 weeks now)

Doesn't look minor to me. Pretty normal for collision repairs to take 3, 4 or more weeks in my experience.

I don't think 3 to 4 weeks is bad. I have had vehicles in the body shop much longer than that. Personally, I have never rushed a body shop when they had any of my cars. My preference is that they take their time and get it right.

That vehicle took your whole side out. Let them take their time and get it right the first time. Nothing like reskining one side of a truck.

There's an art to doing it right. Let them take their time. The person's insurance is hopefully covering your rental car while it's going on.
