5th gen 4th gen shocks/Struts compatible

Is the front struts /shocks compatible from a 5th gen on a 19 classic both trucks 4wd. I jave my factory taje offs i was going to see if they would work on a friends truck.

I had a set of 5th gen RC lift struts installed on my 4th Gen. They came off my coworkers 5th gen. Those were 2" 5th gen lift struts. They lifted my 4th Gen 3 1/4".

There is a length difference. 5th gen is longer but will fit a 4th Gen.

The 5th gen struts are taller. They will basically work as "leveling" struts when installed on a 4th gen.
