So anyone whos had the 4wd service light come on
Where did you buy yours at … seen so many between oem and many aftermarket ones just want to get one but dont wanna buy oem for 700 haha but seen some after market for 100 200 and so on

I've seen guys mention Amazon where they got theirs. I'm not sure about long term working.
 
Now question is carquest for 127 at advance auto or dorman for 170
 
if going cheap you might as well go to a junkyard and get one from wrecked trucks...


it's one of those jobs that if I do it once I don't want to do it again. just did it on a JT 3 weeks ago. swapped the actuator for a cheapo one from Dorman and it worked for a week before crapping itself. Ended up swapping it with an OE one and all's good.

You are correct hence why im firm on oem but i feel like. Its so easy to swap lol i may test the wTers

im already burnt out from wrenching other people's cars so the least amount of wrenching on my vehicles are better ;)
 
I've been running the Dorman one for about 6 months. When I first installed it, it didn't want to shift properly, but over time has getting better. No issues anymore. Not sure why it was being a pain at first.
