4th gen bed cap on 5th gen

hello,

im looking to purchase a 4th gen bed cap for my 5th gen. I was wondering if anybody has done this with an ARE. I seen someone with a leer that had one. Looking at there bed dimensions it should work. Anybody have any input?

I went thru this with my hard cover, going from 2014 to 2019. Mine fit, not perfect but it works. The dimensions are real close, however the shape is different. Looking down from above, the 4th gen are slightly coke bottle shaped, whereas the 5th gen are straight. Hope that helps.
