How do you release the center section to come down on the 19 Ram?

Strap on upper center section next to driver seat, it may be tucked in. It is probably somewhere in that 700 page manual. The learning curve is bigger these days.

Not sure what you mean by release it , on mine you just pull the strap down .

I think the strap is not visible and is tucked between the seats. As a new owner he is not familiar with the "strap". My 2001 1500 SLT you just flip up and down.
