37s with only a level........oh, it's possible

Like the title states. 37s will fit a Rebel with just a level. My truck is on air but I leveled it out with a kit a put together. Before the tires it sat 41.5" in the back and 41" in the front. Wheels are 18x9 with a -12mm back space. Tires are 37x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Truck will go lock to lock in Aero, Normal and Offroad. Entry/Exit has no interference but you will not be turning anywhere.

I absolutely love the stocky filled up look of the truck. My Fiberwerx kit will be here on Wednesday, then she gets wider too......

what do the fenders measure with the tires ?
 
Can you elaborate on what you put together for the lift? I'm on air, and the options look pretty skinny out there.

That looks badass man ; i'm with you on the big/built look those tire sidwalls bring, I'm going to find a set of 37s now just to try on hahah.

about that kit you put together... tell me more .. I'm looking to just level with air up front, I'll make my own sensor links, but debating which tophat to use or if I need more parts to ensure correct geometry up front

I did 37s on my last truck. Never again. Shoot I have 35s on now and I’m getting 10mpg it’s ridiculous
Lol, this is why I stopped at a front level with some nice light weight 275 60 20's. 70 lbs of 35" tire was a no go. Younger me would have done it no questions. Older me said do you really want to spend 125 dollars more per tire so that you can then spend a 100 dollars more per week on fuel.

It certainly is, things get out of hand quickly with my builds.....I once had a 2000 Dakota quad cab that ended up with a 6BT Cummins riding on a D70/D80 set up.

I may or may not have a hellcat crate motor in the shop awaiting some supporting fuel parts to come in.........

I am that younger you, lol. I also work with a company out of Michigan that builds bad a$$ HEMI wrangler conversions so I have to keep up with my silly little truck lol

It is basically a Daystar 2" front spacer with Mopar upper control arms and homemade links. Really simple and less than half an hour total install using a hoist.

Appreciate the reply! After all the threads on air suspension trucks not being compatible with various lifts, I'm glad to see a proven recipe.

So the Daystar Kit - IIRC the 2018 2" kit works in the front - (This one?

and more critically are the arms required or a nice-to-have for geometry?

besides that - I have heard with air suspension it's recommended to lower to entry/exit mode, then set jack mode, then lift and disconnect the airline to reduce the volume of nitrogen loss in the system - did you do anything like that or differently when installing the spacers?

Yes sir, that is the kit I used. Less than $100 on ebay. I can measure my links for you as well if you want measurements. I added links in the rear a couple days ago as I still wanted a bit of a rake. Rides like stock but doesn't look that way.

As for the install what you mentioned above is likely your best bet to evacuate as much as the air from the bags as possible before removing the top air line. I am in the FCA business so I have access to CDA and WiTech and used them to deflate the bags back to the reservoir but the loss you will see doing it the conventional way will be minimal. Just make sure to hand start the fittings when you re-install them and do not over tighten them.
