360 Camera recalibration

I recently purchased a 24' 1500 Limited which came with the tow mirrors. I came to an agreement with the dealer to purchase standard night edition mirrors as well and they recently put them on only for the camera's to now be out of sync. I sat at the dealership for 6 hours while they attempted to reprogram them, I ultimately left with my 360 camera system not working and they mentioned they will have to contact Stellantis to get more information.

To my limited knowledge and speaking to a former ram tech the system needs to simply be recalibrated. To me this seems like a simple process but it must be done thru the dealer due to security gateway.

My question to the forum is has any of you ever came across this problem while swapping mirrors? If you have, what did you have to do to make it work again?

After installing the 360 Surroundview Camera System, I decided to put this together to help others. I know there are several others who have done this. If you have any extra input, please let me know. I will start with the parts list first. Make sure to read the notes. You may need to find the correct part number depending on your configuration or color. It was about $1200 using used items. About $2200 new.

1 of CVPM - 68318033AI (Uconnect 4) or 56029964AF (UConnect 5)- This goes in the passenger kick panel. It comes with the mounting bracket.
