I’m sure there’s some comparisons somewhere on here but I can’t find them. I’m torn between upgrading to a 20” or 22” wheel. This will be coupled with 3.5” RL and 35” Nitto Ridge Grappler (or similar). I want to know if there’s a huge difference in ride quality between the two. I know with less sidewall, comes less ride quality. I’m experienced when it comes to lifts. I’ve had a truck with 6” lift and 35’s as well as a Tundra with a 12” lift and 38’s on 24” wheels. The 22” and 35” tire looks really good to me but don’t want to sacrifice too much ride. My 35” on 20” rode pretty good even to be a mud tire but that was a completely diff truck. Anybody with specific 20” & 22” wheel experience on the Ram, please help!

Following this post out of curiosity for myself.. I've had 20x10 w/35s on my last 2 rams and the ride was perfectly fine... I had 24s with tiny tires on a escalade EXT truck and although it still rode great down the highway you could def feel the little bumps and crappy roads in town...

Im considering going 22x12 35s this time around on my new 5th gen Longhorn once I get it lifted this spring.. The Truck came from the factory with 22s and the little crappy factory tires and rides honestly too nice for a truck IMO so I can't imagine putting a 35" tire on aftermarket 22s that are 3 inches wider making that much of a difference! Like I said I honestly feel like these new rams ride way too nice for a truck even with the factory 22s so roughing up the ride a little is only going to make it feel more like a truck for me!

Yeah, the 35” tire on a 22” wheel still has a descent amount of sidewall on tire, definitely in comparison to a 33” tire. I’m hoping to hear from someone on here with experience with the 35” on 22”.
