3000 miles and everything has stopped working

43 years, then you are probably aware of the old manuals that suggest "racking the unit" as a repair procedure. Maybe open the hood and start hitting things with a hammer.

so the fix was just to clear the codes?
same thing happening to my 20 laramie 5.7 Etorque

I commented this in another thread but I read and reset codes in a phone/tablet app called torque. I believe you can also log data. It only costs about $5 for the app and $20 for the OBDii to bluetooth. I always want to know the codes BEFORE seeing the dealer. It lets you do a little research so you can have a more productive dealer visit.

I am having a similar issue. Waiting on dealership appointment first week of June. This is what my reader is telling me.

Really hoping that’s the issue
There isn't a real description of what the problems can be when it's not working properly, but I know people complaining about backup camera not working at times. Your scan may have caught the problem as it being invalid info. Sure doesn't hurt to have the recall software update performed.

truck is fixed, dealer determined it to be my front actuator. Replaced it and it fixed the problem. I could still go in 4wd and 4wd lo. I’m guessing it’s a sensor that went bad on the actuator?
