Why don't any of the usual vendors have 3.92 R&P kits for the 5th Gen trucks? I've found some 3.92 front axle assemblies on eBay for $1k complete, and new ones can be had for around $1,300 complete. But it's a moot point if I can't find a matching rear gear set. Not paying $3,500 for a rear axle assy. That's ignorant.

Look for fourth gen listings. It's the same axle.

Somebody needs to start making axles for the front with 4.56 gears. Can't believe no aftermarket companies have tackled this yet.

So the 5th gen trucks are 6 bolt hubs, I guess a guy could just swap the existing axle shafts into the 4th gen axle assembly and it would all match up?

Doubtful, the differentials have different part numbers
Gen 5

68266877AA
CASE Differential

Gen 4
68053299AG

Replaced By:

68050784AJ
CASE ASSEMBLY Differential

I assume there's a different part number for a reason, possibly axle spline count. Also, the 5thgens Diff uses coolant lines from the radiator, 4th Gen does not so that would be another hurdle.
