Hello all, first time poster, long time reader??

Anyways I am looking to get my first pickup truck this summer. The Ram Rebel has stolen my heart since I saw Logan. But, I drive alot, like 20,000 miles a year and gas mileage is kind of important, and obviously the Ram is no Prius. I am currently driving a '19 XC90 which I will be giving to my wife. It gets 20mpg through the first 20,000 miles. Anyways on the Ram website I can build a Rebel with 3.21 gears but in real life I can't find one, like anywhere. I asked the dealership and they seemed to think this was not possible. However obviously the 3.21 would give better gas mileage. I am not off roading or towing anything. Is the Rebel a poor choice for me? Absolutely. But I do not care. I just am trying to optimize the purchase to justify my poor choices.

TLDR Anyone ever heard of 3.21 gears with the Rebel?

Sorry, I just went back to rebuild one and I dont see the 3.21 as an option. I guess that answers my question.

Man I'd think the bigger tires and higher ground clearance would hurt the mileage too. I suppose you could always grab a big Horn or Laramie and add the off road look but I bet you still lose mpgs.
