Posting some pics to this section as well, sorry to be repetitive, just want to make sure the info is as readily available as possible in different sections of this forum for those who are searching. I know when I was new to this forum it really helped me search for answers when you guys posted the same info in different threads pertaining to the same subject, just want to return the favor. Thanks again all! The info on these pictures can be found in my thread “All fixed up!” in the 5th gen mods/accessories section.

Truck looks great. I have one ordered and am debating over the Rough Country 3.5" lift or the ReadyLift 3.5" lift. What made you choose the Rough Country? I like that it comes with rear shocks and is a bit cheaper, but I know ReadyLift makes some quality kits.

Thanks! I went with the Rough Country for price and it is what my install guy had and recommended. The ride is great, glad I went with it.

Truck looks great but why did you leave the dealer ad decal on your truck?

19llhpb Thinking about getting rough country is the ride basically the same? And anything you’ve learned or would do different now?

Greetings Mantooth, I would not do anything different, I do like the RC lift. You can ‘feel’ the road slightly more as you would with any lift and 10 ply 35” tires but the truck still rides and steers very nice. Honestly, I was expecting the ride and steering to be worse than what it is with this setup. Can’t even tell it is lifted as far as vehicle control goes even at high speeds.

Awesome great to hear! I Know I’ve seen the videos of the ready lift versus rough country and a lot of people are steering away from rough country which made me want to steer away from them myself but I honestly have never had any problems with them in the past Keep me updated if anything changes and I’ll be sure to Post pictures when I get mine

Sounds good, thanks. I too have heard about the Ready Lift vs the RC lift. As I have posted before, I will trust a good friend of mine who recommended the RC lift and has worked on many trucks of mine over the last 20 years before I will trust a you tube video posted on a forum!

I got the 3.5" rough country lift with 295/60r20 nitto ridge grapplers and I love it. Rides very close to stock with no issues. Taking it back to the shop so the can retighten everything. They advised I do that after a few hundred miles just to make sure. I did also by the rough country speedometer calibrator but it wouldn't work. It wouldn't even turn on so I returned it. Going to eventually buy the hypertech instead. Magnaflow catback is next on my list.

Do you have any concerns with the CV or tie rod angles?
