From what I've seen I don't see many SO's getting better than 17-19mpg on here with more than one trip under their belt.
I'm getting about 18 on highway trips. A buddy just got a new Laramie. He's getting 22 on highway trips.

I get 18mph all day long, not just on certain trips. Though I will be heading to OBX in a few, bet I'm over 20 on that trip. Point is, there is no real MPG benefit to a SO over a HO, other than the HO driver may be a bit more throttle happy.I'm getting about 18 on highway trips. A buddy just got a new Laramie. All my calcs are by hand. I've documented every tank of gas it has ever had.I am in Morehead City now. I drove here and back 2 weeks ago and then drove here again on Sunday. That is just over 300 miles, each way, from Lexington, SC.
I set my cruise control at 10 MPH over the limit. When I filled up and immediately drove here (the first time) and filled up again as soon as I arrived, I got 18.5 MPG. That is my best, so far.
That is hand calculated. The dash computer lies. It has on every RAM I've owned. And it almost always says I got better mileage than I really did. Like, more than 9 times out of 10 it says higher than what was real.
If you are hand calculating and getting 18, that is awesome. If you are not hand calculating, then you really don't know what you're actually getting.

Yes, but it’s a separate model from the Limited. Until a couple years ago it was called Laramie Longhorn. I never understood why Ram didn’t just call it a Longhorn. Maybe they just like to keep people confused. But it is a totally separate model from a Limited.Longhorn is a Limited Longhorn
My commute is 60 miles daily, with speeds around 70-80. Best MGPs are around 70 in this thing. That's how I do. Every fill-up goes into Fuelly.
What speed are you driving to get 22 MPG?
I'm thinking it must not be the 70 on slower roads and 80 on Interstates that I'm doing.
Side note:
My '19 Hemi/eTorque averaged 14.1 MPG over the 71,700 miles I had it.
My '21 EcoDiesel averaged 21.5 over the 59,390 miles I had it. Most of that was after installing a GDE tune on it.
Both of those had aftermarket 20" wheels with 275/60-20 all-terrain tires (1" bigger than stock) for most of the logged miles. I estimate those wheels/tires cost me 1 - 1.5 MPG versus stock wheels/tires.
My '25 is too new to say how it really does yet. But, I think I'm probably going to stick with the stock wheels and tire sizes and highway-oriented tires on this one.
I consider "Longhorn" as a special options package, much the same way "GT" is treated. But in different years, they limited it to different models.Yes, but it’s a separate model from the Limited.
