Just scheduled my 2nd Service Visit for repairs. #1 was for the infamous Sun Roof Drain Tubes that the dealer told me about but I fixed after taking it in to show the wet carpet in my first week of ownership. Trip #2 is to have them look at the Backup Camera as I suspect water leakage causing the screen to provide me an array of colorful lines after a deluge the night before. I am also going to have them look at the AC as it is struggling to keep up with the heat at times. All will be working well and then I can smell the humidity entering into the cab as the air coming out of the vents goes from cold to warm. I think I also hear the re-circulation vent change settings (opening up) at times allowing the hot humid air coming in at the same time. The light on the switch doesn't change state but I can feel the velocity of the air increase as if it opens.... I will ask them to take a look at the TSB for the AC issues. We will see how it goes after the last goat rope of a visit - failing to complete the final steps of the recent recall. More to follow

Just picked up RAM#2 from the dealer. A MUCH better visit than the previous in that when I got into my truck I did not have an array of Warnings, Alarms, and Issues due to incomplete work. Additionally - the dealer has a new Backup Camera on order as they did determine that the original was suspect..... Finally they did complete the AC TSB 24-001-19. I will see and report what happens. The A/C will get a work out over the next week as my area is hitting 100+ Degrees + Heat Index over the next week.

AC Fix a NOGO........
Experiencing the very same issues, AC working and then a period of humid air at a lower temperature followed by a return to normal AC.
Would like to know if there is a way to see if TSB 24-001-19 was actually completed. Not saying that I don't trust / believe my dealer but......

Would you say this cycle lasts for about 20 seconds and does it about every 15 minutes?

Seems like everyones is doing. I think it's normal.
I have never had a vehicle's AC operate this way and actually find it hard to believe that this action would be intentional / normal as it goes against everything that Air Conditioning does - Cool and Dehumidify . Why would RAM intentionally allow hot and humid air back air into the very cab that it is attempting to dehumidify and cool? This just doesn't make any sense.

There is another thread floating around here. In that thread someone said that they thought it let fresh air in the cabin to remove "stale" air. I don't know how much that makes sense. But there it is.

Agree fully. Seriously doubt this is intentional.

Update - I called the dealer the middle of last week to get the status of the back-up camera that they "ordered" so that I could get an appointment set up for its installation AND to let the know that the AC was still acting up.... Well I found out that while they did have a camera for my 2013 RAM, they didn't see an order being placed for the 2019 - no worries. I swung by the shop Friday and showed them their paperwork showing that the camera was to be ordered and after letting me know that they had just received a computer system upgrade shortly after my earlier visit... they ordered the new camera. I also let the know about the AC still acting up and they said that they would be happy to address this when they install the camera that was just supposed to be ordered. We will see.....

Update #2 - I called the dealer to check the status on the status of the backup camera that they were supposed to re-order because of the earlier SNAFU... I called the Service Dept and was promptly patched over to the Parts Dept as soon as I mentioned Order Status - she didn't even listen to what I was saying. I spoke to the very same Rep in Parts that I spoke to 2 weeks ago and was informed that he had not received any requests to order/reorder the camera.... I called back to the Service Dept to see what was going on to find out that my assigned Rep was on vacation - I hope that she is enjoying her time off, SERIOUSLY, and was passed off to another. After explaining the situation / history of events he informed me that he would check into it and after being on hold for a few minuets asked if there was a number that he could reach me at when he got the current status / answer. 5 hours later, after not hearing back from him, I called back and was informed that the camera was in fact ordered and received by the technician...…. and I now have an appointment for Thursday to get it replaced. Additionally they are supposed to look again at my A/C to see if they can figure out why it pushes out cold air for about 15-20 min and then takes a break and pushes out warm/humid air for a min or two and then goes back to attempting to push out cold air. I must say that every time I think of my Dealer's "Service Dept" - Send in the Clowns pops into my head - One day I fully expect a PT Cruiser or Neon to drive up while I am standing at the Service Dept Desk and see a gaggle of "Technicians" roll out of the vehicle with toy wrenches and such in hand.....

UPDATE - I dropped off my truck to get the repairs completed to include Backup Camera replacement AND have them look at my AC yet again. Picked it up yesterday and was informed that they completed a "Update" on my AC Controller...... waiting on my paperwork to make it my way via email. They stated the first time that they complete the TSB on the AC...... Anyway I will let you know how things are working when the Dog Days of Summer hit......

It's to replenish O2 levels , 2 ways to do it. Allow 10-15% total flow to be outside air at all times, or cycle the outside air intake damper for a few seconds every couple minutes either way fresh has to be let in. Ther is minimum number of air changes per hour required same with buildings

Just got the Service Report from my past visit and have had time to put some miles under the tires....

The Short - A/C still is cycling as before. The Service Report says "Diag and found a PCM Update TSB Updated PCM". I have been going through the docs on the TSB Tab on this site and have not found anything on this yet..... Am I missing something?

@ Billet1500 4X4 - I understand what you are saying but I have never had a vehicle cycle to let in outside air into the mix when in a recirculate setting.
