I just put a 3.5” lift and 35s on my 3.6L Ram (2023). Im kind worried about the power loss and my gear ratios. Obviously I have 3.21 but I dont want my engine/transmission to pay for it in the long run. Should I get it regeared or am I just worrying too much? Yesterday I was cruising on the highway at 75 and my rpms never left 3000. I never noticed this before.

Did you reprogram for the tire size? I run 35s on my v6 too and usually runs at about 2k on the highway, but hunts for 8th gear a lot. I noticed a huge change after reprogramming compared to how it was after just swapping tires. I’ve put about 60k since the lift and tires without any issues this far. And as far as power, I have a banks pedal monster to help off of the line. I don’t off road it, or tow, so I think it has plenty of power.

When you say reprogram you mean…? The odometer? If so then no, I haven't even gotten an alignment yet, I just put all this on last weekend. I drove the truck for about 2 years just stock so 35s feel really different than what Im used to as far as acceleration goes.

I used Alfa to change the tire size. It makes the speedo read correctly, adjusts shift points and it will show the mileage more accurately for the increased tire size.

i have exact stup on my 3.6, 35's and a 3.5 lift. noticve the same RPM. been running fvo 20k miles now and no issues. just plan on uping the maintenance intervals for oil, tranny fluid, diff fluids, etc.

The engine and transmission should be fine. It’s kinda like riding with extra weight in the truck. It just has to work a little harder consistently. Make sure you keep or shorten your maintenance intervals and you’ll be fine.
