295/65r20 Fit on Stock 20x9 +19mm Wheels

Just wanted to make a quick thread stating that 295/65r20 tires do in fact fit on 20x9 stock night edition wheels with just a Motofab 2.5" leveling kit. I know there are many threads out there on tire size and what fits and what doesn't, but it was hard to find anything specific on this tire size.

I went with Yokohama Geolandar MT's. On the truck they measure out to about 34.75" tall, and 11.8" wide. My biggest concern for fitment was with the upper control arm. Stock tire was very close to the UCA, with maybe 5/8" of space between the ball joint and the tire sidewall. But after the 2.5" level the Yokohama's fit with around 3/8" of space now, and clear at full lock either direction. The tires also clear at full lock everywhere else within the wheel well, and just narrowly miss my mud flap in the front wheel wells.

The Motofab 2.5" kit also worked out pretty well. Stock heights I measured out at 39" to the center of the rear wheel well, 36.25" to the center of the front. Now after level and tires I'm at 40.75" to the rear and 40.25" to the front. So still a tiny bit of rake, though it has the illusion that the front is high.

Just a quick thread for the next person searching for info on what fits.

I’m goin with the lil sister version of yours …. 295/60R20’s on 10” wide …. I like a lil more gap between top of the tire and fender

I just had Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015's, in the 295/65/r20 size, put on my RAM yesterday. The tires fit everywhere except the driver side front wheel well. I had to do a little work to eliminate the rubbing, but now all is good! I Love this size and, so far, the tires!.

Stock control arms. Angles don't seem too bad overall it drives pretty well. I did end up finding one spot where it rubbed, but was able to fix it pretty quick.

Passenger side inner wheel well plastic would catch the front part of the tire when full lock reverse turning left. Cut a small chunk off and no more rub. I'll try to take some pictures of the ball joint later.
