Hello everybody!
I’m looking to ditch the Duelers that came on my truck. Living in Wisconsin, we can get some pretty wild winter weather. I currently am sitting on stock suspension, but I did want to try and squeeze a little more height out of my truck. Has anybody but 275/65 tires on the stock rims, with stock suspension, that could tell me if there is going to be any rubbing? Maybe I need to step down to 275/60? I apologize if this has been asked, I tried searching, but wasn’t finding anything that answered my question.
I’m open to all opinions as well!
Thanks all!

Hey, so I'm not running that particular size and I'm sure others will chime in, but on stock suspension I suspect that you may rub, at least a tad. I'm running 295/60 with air suspension and the ORG and just put on new tires, yesterday. They rub ever so slightly at full lock (even though my previous set at the same size didn't) on the back of the plastic fender lines up front. Granted, my tires are 20mm wider but my standard ride height is also 1" higher than yours (due to ORG). My wheels are also a negative offset which helps to alleviate internal component rubbing which you likely won't have to worry about since 275 is OE width. Hope this helps.

*EDIT* I walk back my previous statement - there is another thread with multiple replies stating that 275/60 on stock suspension/wheels should work fine lol

How do I find that thread? I couldn’t find it. I’m also trying to search in my phone right now while at work, so not the easiest lol!

275/60/20 will work no problem on a stock height truck. I know that for a fact as I ran that size on both my 5th gen trucks. One had the ORG and the other didn’t. That was the stock size on the 4th gen trucks.

I do not however know if the 275/65/20 will work. That’s a 34” tire where as your stock size is 32”. I think there is no question they’d fit if you are leveled up front

I would agree, that with a level they will for sure fit. However I don’t want to do the puck style level, and would prefer to actually do the struts, which isn’t in the budget on top of tires right now. However I’m seeing a lot of not so favorable performance in these Duelers in the snow, so more of a need right now. I might just roll with the 275/60.
I appreciate the confirmation on the 60’s though!! Thank you!

I’m running 275/60R20 Wildpeaks on my 2020 Laramie. On paper the 65s would be about an inch bigger. The only time I get any rubbing is on full turn going over a bump/curb. Makes me think the 65s would rub on every full turn. This is my first experience with Falken Tires and I couldn’t be happier. Cheers.

Wow that is surprising. I never rubbed at all with the 275/60/20’s on my truck. But I have heard that the falkens run bigger than other brands

I used to run 275/65 R20 Cooper AT3 XLT on my 2014 Sport. Does the 4th Gen have larger clearance than the 2021 5th gen?
