Hi,
Im hoping someone could help. I would like to put on BF Goodrich KO2's tires on a stock 2020 Big Horn 4x4. I really do not want to level it and was just hoping to put on the biggest tire I could. If anyone could give me their input on what works and was does not. Any input and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

275/65/20 fill the wheel well up nicely and are about 10.8” wide vs the 11.2” wide on the factory tires

Also the 275/65 will be a lot more affordable

Thank you so much for your response. I'm just worried about rubbing. In your experiences do you know if either the 275/65R20 or the 285/60R20 would rub. I really hope to get the size that looks the best on the truck. Thank for your time and any additional input.

285/60/20 is the factory tires size and will not rub

275/65/20 will not rub and is a little bigger but slightly more narrow. I haven’t seen these on aftermarket wheels. They look fantastic in my opinion and in some cases are cheaper.

Thank you so much! Im keeping the factory rims, I didn't see 285/60R20 as a factory size but knowing now it makes me feel better.

That’s my fault.

I was under the impression we were discussing Ram HDs.

My apologies. I could be completely wrong now lol. Sorry for the confusion.

That said I believe you’ll be able to fit a 285 under your truck. It’s essentially a 33” tire.

Call up discount tire and they should be able to help you out. Also they do test fits.

With my Ram 1500 I wouldn’t put a 275 on as I believe they wouldn’t fit ona stock height and stock wheel.

If you are running stock height; then I would recommend a 33" tire 275/60R20 or 285/60R20. Based upon the thousands of tire size posts I have read, a 33" will fit nicely on a stock setup. a 275/65R20 or 285/65R20 will be 34" and will likely give you some rub (not to mention very little clearance for suspension articulation). Midnight1988's truck looks AWESOME with the KO2 285/65R20 tires; but I think that may be a little big for stock suspension. Stock tire size on your truck should be 275/55R20; which is about 32 inches tall and 11 inches wide.

Thank you for your time and input. I think Im going to go with the 285/60R20 BFG KO'2s. Do you think with the slightly extra width I would be ok? Greatly appreciated!!!!

Your front tires may rub slightly on the plastic wheel well liner on a full lock turn (especially in reverse). Some forum members have used a zip tie on the liner to eliminate any rub.

I’m running 275/65/20 on a wheel that is 1mm offset more than the stock wheels and I had no rubbing before I installed the leveling kit. I think the 33’s look too small on these trucks, the 4th gen models came with 33’s I don’t know why they went to 32’s on the 5th gens.

I know this is an old thread but I’ll just post here anyways. I did a 2” level and now I just installed 285/60r20 KO2s on +18 20x9 rims and they fit perfectly. At full lock there is still a half inch of room so I could see the 295/60r20s also fitting but I didn’t want to go that wide. Although, I apparently have an extra inch of lift all around from a rebel level 2 pack. My truck is a sport (Canadian market only) but has this rebel option.
