So I got rid of my 22’s shod with venom pure 33/12.5’s and got a set of ‘23 Longhorn 20” take off rims.
Searched online for AT tires with lowest road noise. All reviews I read about Dueler Ascent AT said it’s a quiet tire.
It ain’t.
Sounds like a cat wining/howling or wheel bearing on its way out. The venom pures were loud and sounded like semi truck tires on the highway.
Plus the Ascents are by no means comfortable, I guess 55 profile is still low. They handle well.
Any one have pictures of 275/60 or 285/60’s on their pickups? The 275’s look a bit narrow on them 20’s.
I’m not concerned over the resultant speedo error.

And which HT tires cause the least road noise? That’s my next move if I can find a good looking HT

I love my 285/65R20's but they would most likely rub a bit more if I didn't have the Off Road Package in my truck. These Rams look excellent with a little wider tire. However 275/65R20's might give you the clearance necessary so you don't have go crazy trimming things.

Tire Rack has pretty good reviews and ratings. I guess there is always CR as well.

In terms of noise for all-terrain tires, CR had the Continental TerrainContact A/T tire rated highest (also highest overall.) It was the only tire to get 5/5 on noise. No other A/T tire got higher than 3/5.

Thanks for that info

My next pickup will have the off road package. I fitted KYB adjustable shocks to the front and raised it an inch only as I prefer a slight rake - so it would clear the larger tires
