275/60/20 on oem 20'' wheel?

I found a calculator online that showed my bigger tires accounted for an 8.4% difference in what my speedometer was showing. For simplicity I just round up to 10% and use that. At 50 I’m really going 55. At 60 I’m actually 66, and so on. Hopefully it works...haven’t been pulled over

Yeah mine is only a 3% difference, so really not much. I got a gps app that shows real speed and I know at 70 it reads 68 and 50 reads 49 . Matches what the online calc said perfectly. Also I went from a 275/65/18 to a 275/60/20. Basically went up an inch from about a 32" to a 33" in overall diameter.

I’ve wondered if those GPS apps are accurate. That’s good to hear. Might I ask which app you are using?

those look more like the size the truck should come with. nice. did you get the truck reprogrammed for the new size ?

I did not. I haven't been back to the dealer since I bought the truck

Yea, I searched for about 2 months. I found a set with the locking lugs shipped from cali to michigan for 550 total....I'm pretty sure I stole them. They seem to be running about 800ish plus shipping from what I've seen.

Mine on Les Schwab Open Range 275/60r20. No issues whatsoever. Planning on going a little bigger next time with a 2” level. Waiting for Bilsteins...

Did you notice any transmission or acceleration issues with your higher gear ratio when you moved to the bigger are more aggressive tires?

I figure the case is no, but how any rubbing at full lock? Looking to run the same tire, though will most likely level.

Any issues running the larger wildpeaks (275/60R20) with your 3.21 gear ratio? From an acceleration or MPG standpoint.

No difference whatsoever if you stick with a 4 ply tire. 275/60R20 are only 1 inch taller than stock tires. Although your trucks computer will be off a little on MPH and MPG, so it will show worse fuel mileage than it actually is if you don't have your tire size calibrated.
