The Pirellis on my 24 Laramie w black 22s are wearing quick. Contemplating both of these alternate sizes for a little more sidewall. BUT have snow traction to consider living in CO and skiing w son every weekend. Any thoughts where I would be better served? Looking at Conti Terrain Contact AT but leaning Michelin Defender LTX ms2 - I dont need AT altho they might "look" tougher.... thanks in advance!

305/45/22 is my choice for all season. 275/50/22 for a winter set.

I just used the tire size calculator/compare website. the similarities are so close in these 2 alt sizes - difference only really being width. Otherwise the changes to sidewall height, revolutions, circumference, diameter and even speedo changes are otherwise exact same in the 2 alt sizes and real difference is just width 10.8" (275/50) vs 12" width (305/45).

I love my M/T 33x12.50R22 have made a trip to Colorado but haven't tried in the snow.

LTX MS/2's are an "all season". They are designed with light snow in mind. I run that tire in MT (with lots of snow) , and it's definitely not a snow tire. It's also a lot noisier than the factory OE tire for what it's worth.

Yup. If you want more sidewall I'd look into a 33" diameter tire, which should fit stock.

ordered the Conti Terraincontact AT in 275/50/22... it was really these or the Michelins (had, em previously, great no complaints) but decided for a bit more "agro" look plus the Contis get great reviews

@Blizzak454 I looked at that thread and your pix a few times in my decision making process. Ultimately w a buy 3 get 1 for $1 at Ram dealers, plus Conti offers some nice free road hazard, 30 day like or return etc - didn't think I could go wrong! They review nice and I wanted a more aggressive treaded tire but with good road comfort/noise and these seem like the right choice.

Cool I hope they work out good for you. Keep me posted.

So like you guys I have the factory 22s on my 2021 and I want to get a more aggressive looking tire that's good in snow and rain. I really don't want to pay $400 a tire though, is there any of the cheaper brands that are decent tires and not super loud? I was thinking maybe general grabbers ATX I think they were called, they look a lot like BFG all terrains. But I'm open to suggestions so far away and thank you in advance.

Love the M/T but not cheap.

whoa - these Contis are quite Oh-mazing. yep new tire smell runs strong but they LOOK great and drive even better. Smoother and quieter than the street based Pirelli Verde's which really did surprise me.

Dealer had em aired to 40psi - and driving they went to 43/42 ish - seems high?

Have any pictures? I'm about to go pick up some factory 22's without tires. Might get the Continentals from your review!

Not the best pic - candidly at the taco truck in town for dinner and buddy wanted pix last night. I'll get something better. Cant speak to snow traction (live in CO at 8200 and nothing til this next week allegedly) or gas mileage - but the ride is quite better as I had a couple longer trips today on varying road and gravel - so far very happy - told my buddy to negotiate them as part of his new truck purchase he's pursuing.

I found some 22’s with tires at a decent price so I bought them. I’ve always wanted these wheels since my first Ram. Saw your picture and I was instantly laughing that we have the same Truck. Lol.

WHOA - ha. Great minds I guess! Although you do the new TT and styling updates - oddly saw one just like yours yesterday here in the high country of CO - you ?

A little follow on review now that we've had some good snow in CO to provide a more all around test.

Not a 3peak tire but no complaints at all in snow here in the high country. Work very well in all snow conditions from new, to sloppy slush. What really sets them apart imo is that these tires are so quiet on the highway it's a bit modboggling as well. Comfortable, composed and also do well on choppy gravel roads w really bad studder bumps. Got the buy 3, get one free thru Mopar deal. Very pleased.
