2500/1500 part swaps

The body of the present 2500 is the same as pre 2019 1500? Is this correct? If so exterior parts ( headlamps, trim, fender flares, etc) from a pre 2019 1500 about fit the 2500?

The current 2500 is still largely 4th gen so the body panels of the cab and bed will only fit if you have a Ram 1500 classic. The 5th gen 1500 has completely differant body body panels. The front clip is bigger on on a 2500 so those panels will not fit either way.

Different headlights for 1

Depends on what year your 2500 is. They changed the shape of the 2500 headlights for the 2019 MY (gen 4.5), so if yours is newer than 2018 you won't be able to use 4th gen 1500 headlights. Just so you are aware, this is the 5th gen 1500 forum. You'll probably have better luck posting this question in the HD forum.
