'25 Automatic Emergency Braking functionality

When I looked at the manual, my understanding was that if the light was on, something was wrong with the system. I haven't changed any of the settings as the Auto E. Braking is still on. It came back on today and then randomly went off while I was driving. 2 days in a row. I wonder if a module's wiring is possibly not connected properly.

My dog always walks around my truck while I pull in and back up in my driveway. My 2025 Laramie has always just beeped when he was close to the truck. Today, it slammed on the brakes while backing up and he was behind me. The emergency braking is working on my truck. He is a country dog who is a little too casual around trucks, tractors and ATVs. I’m happy to know the emergency braking works.

I've had the truck slam on the brakes because the sun was shining and creating a glare on the sensor in just the right angle. Luckily no one was in front or behind me at the time. This has happened twice within the first year. After the second time, I turned that feature off and have it set on alert only. Increased technology is not the cure-all, paying attention is.
