'24 1500 steering jerks and binds on snow in 4wd high, when the steering wheel is turned just 3/4 turn.

I understand all 4wds have a greater steering radius in 4wd due to drive linkage binding, but compared to my 2016, the radius in 4wd must be twice as great.

Do others experience what must be a far greater radius and inability to turn steering wheel more than 3/4 turn in 4wd?

Are you 1000% positive there was enough snow to help the front tires slip?
I’ve used mine (2023) in 4WD high to park in 90 degree parking spots when lots were full of snow and no jerking.

Yes for sure. It was big snow and ice.
And as mentioned before, 3/4 turn of the steering and it's bound up.

I'd be curious if other 2019-2025 owners can turn their steering wheel more than 3/4 turn. Like 4 tries to get into a regular parking space.

It definitely has a bigger turning radius in 4WD . If the front tires have grip it will bind . What psi are you running ?

Op has standard 20s, and pressure at 38. Exact same as my 2016. I hear that wheelbases grew 4" with 5th gen, but I would swear that my 4wd turning radius could be double the 2wd radius of 150' or so. At least it sure seems that way.

Anyone besides OP who's experienced 4wd steering bind up in a 5th gen on snow or ice or loose gravel, with just a 3/4 turn of the steering wheel?
