2022 Ecodiesel Rebel, went into the freeway today and truck wouldn't go. Floored it, revs slowly picked up. Once it got into 5th it just revved way up but didn't move and wouldn't shift passed 5th. Shifting, rpms would spike slightly between shift, almost like it went into neutral for a half a second.

Felt like I was towing a house behind me.

No check engine lights or anything. Turned it off for a bit and back, ran fine but felt gutless. One thing I did notice was the trans temp was uner 190, its hot as hell here right now and generally my trans hugs 198 once warm.

All started after driving about a 30 mile trip.

Background on the truck:
Never had any issues, 63k on the clock

AFE cold air with a pro dry filter about about 40k ago
PPG trans pan with liquimoly 1800 about 7k ago
Oil changes religiously between 5k and 7.5k intervals
Fuel filters ever 10-15k
CP4 pump recal done about 6k ago

Anyone have any clue what might be going on? Its stil under warranty but dealerships here are crazy backed up and this is my only vehicle.

Shot in the dark, but did you verify the correct fluid level in the transmission? Almost sounds like your torque converter was slipping or failing to lock up.

DEF fluid isn’t low or wrong type, is it? Also, if the def pump connector is damaged, it will go into limp mode. Should have turned on some lights if this is the case, but worth a shot.
If someone jacked up the truck on the frame rail, they may have damaged this connector. Look at the drivers side under drivers door, there is a felt plate between the factory skid plates. This super strong felt pad protects the harness for the def pump and tank heater.
Had this harness crushed by a shop and my truck ran like you described until the dash lights came on a few miles later.
