So , my question is does anyone know if the pilot from the Rebel is the same on the TRX?

Aren't you the pilot, when behind the wheel?

My bad. I meant if the plug for the headlights are the same? I bought aftermarket TRX headlights for my rebel and they worked just fine when I plugged them in, after starting the vehicle and testing the turn signals, the driver side said it was out and wont work. The only way to make it work for a bit is unplugging the battery and it works until i start the vehicle again. I know they are functioning because they work as Hazards

You may have inadvertently identified your problem...aftermarket. Where did you buy these headlights? What brand are they?

I can't answer your question about weather the wiring is the same or not. Please specify the model year of your Rebel and maybe someone can answer that.

2021 Ram Rebel to Ebay aftermarket TRX headlights.

Rebel Headlight: TRX Headlight:
Side Marker 12V 2W Side Marker 13.5V 1.5W
Park 12V 6.5W Park 13.5V 3W
TI 12V 15W TI 13.5V 23W
HB 12V 16.5W HB 13.5V 28W
LB 12V 23W LB 13.5V 35W

Do i need to reprogram the BCM?

Ebay isn't a brand. I hope you didn't pay a lot for them. Rebel headlights are LED reflector headlights and the TRX headlights are LED projectors. Stock TRX headlights are not a plug and play option on a Rebel. Do you have a link to the specific ebay item you bought?

It's been my experience that it's never a good idea to buy aftermarket headlights from ebay or Amazon. They are likely cheap chinese knockoffs that will probably give you problems and have sub-par lighting output. And in the end you'll likely get fed up with them and either go with OEM or a reputable aftermarket solution, and have spent more money in the end.

Thanks for the advise Mike but I bought them knowing they were not compatible with the Rebel. My question is more along the line of, is programming needed to make them work or is it possible?
