Coming from a 2020 w/ the Hemi 3.92 gears. Current ride, 2026 3.0 SO 3.55 gears.
The low speed shifting is kind of driving me nuts, transmission in "auto" mode, trans goes from 1st to 3rd almost instantly; forcing me to accelerate harder than I may want or it seems to bog down. If I switch to "sport" mode, the issue mostly goes away but you lose traction control(not a huge deal, I guess). It's a bit of a pain to switch modes every time I get in the truck.
Any others experience this?
I'm about to take it in to the dealer to see if the computer needs an update/flash/whatever..........

How many miles on the truck? My 2025 seemed to take awhile to learn my driving. If you bought off the lot maybe the truck had a few test drives with aggressive drivers testing acceleration etc. and it needs to learn a more normal driving scenario? Mine shifts smooth as butter in auto mode but is definitely more harsh in sport mode if not driving agressive.

I’m at 3200 and it’s just now starting to smooth out. Was herky jerky for a while.

I'm at 2300 mi, thanks - I'll give it some time to hopefully smooth out.

At almost 19k miles, my 25 still shifts like a kid learning a manual when under 10mph. Dealer had no advice. They did a transmission update or software reboot but it’s still the same 2k miles later.

Mine did that for about 6500 miles, then out of the blue it stopped and shifted normal. Was about ready to take to dealer.
Now it's fingers crossed.
