Hello,

As the thread title says. Recently got a 2026 Ram 1500 Hemi Laramie, and have noticed quite some differences.

First obviously, the wheel well has like a “skirt” coming out of the body making it look beefier.
Coming from the 2023 Laramie I’ve noticed also the grille and the slimmer lights(used to have the LED but the bigger lamps one) blend in seamlessly.

Obviously new exhaust and all sounds great but that’s a given.

But even though I come from a 2023 Laramie night edition, I noticed for the 2026 the front of the truck sits higher, about an inch. And looks a lot more leveled.
And for some reason it rides a lot better, different shocks?
Trying to find official specs on it but can’t.

Any feedback?

Congrats on new truck!

Do you have a sticker on the rear of the bed that reads “4x4 Off-Road”?

Yeah 4x4, but doesn’t read off-road. Regular 4x4 and Laramie branding.

If you have a button under your transmission dial reading “Axle Lock” also then you have the Off Road Group package, which increases ride height front and rear by 1” and is probably what you are perceiving.

New 2026 Ram 1500 Laramie owner here. Got the truck brand new with 21 miles on it in October. I love my truck but I have ran into some electrical gremlins and I see that I am not the only one. I have had “ illumination light service required” warning light come on and off intermittently. I have also had a lot of Bluetooth issues with the wirelsss connection of Apple car play to my iPhone . My bigger concern is I have had my truck throw a shift into gear warning come on and off out of no where . Both times it happened when I was stopped and waiting for a turning signal which is def cause for concern . I do have my nationwide recall scheduled for the cluster the beginning of January so I will be bringing these issues up to them and hopefully most of this is a software update issue and not something that will continue to get worse. Has anyone on here experienced any issues like this ?

I think the 2025 and up Rams do sit slightly higher on the front, although could just be new suspension v.s a 4 year old truck where the springs have sagged a bit.

Or it could be that the Hurricane engine is significantly lighter than the 5.7L Hemi, and Ram didn’t adjust the springs to account for the weight difference. Is this a Hurricane based Laramie?
