Happy Sunday! I've owned previous Rams (2009 Laramie, 2014 Longhorn, 2020 Limited) and am looking into getting into a new one before the end of the year. I wanted to see what you all thought about the 2026 Limited vs. Rebel. In this case, there are two specific trucks I'm looking at so here's the options below. Key differences I am aware of are that the Rebel doesn't have the Advanced Safety Group option so no surround-view camera. Rebel has ventilated front seats and heated front and rear but no ventilated rear seats. Limited headlights are adaptive LED vs. non-adaptive LED, Limited has the power running boards and then the full leather vs. luxury leather of the Rebel. The wheels are different as well. Limited has the HO I6 vs. the SO I6 for the Rebel and of course 17mpg vs. 20mpg on fuel economy and premium vs. regular on the type of gas. The price difference is about $12,800 more for the limited. Ultimately, I'm just trying to decided if the Limited is worth the extra cash or not unless there are other differences I'm missing. What do you all think?

2026 Limited
BUG (Bed Utility Group)
Night Edition
ORG (Off Road Group)
Limited Level A Equipment Group
Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof
Multi-Function Tailgate
Trailer Brake Controller

2026 Rebel
Luxury Leather Trimmed Seats
Technology Group
BUG (Bed Utility Group)
Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group
Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof
Decal Delete
Multi-Function Tailgate
33-Gallon Fuel Tank
4-Corner Air Suspension
RamBox
Trailer Brake Controller

To me it's a matter of appearance and function. If you will never really challenge this truck off road and want comfort over off-road performance and rugged styling, Limited wins. If the reverse, then Rebel. Both are really nice trucks so to me it's that simple. I haven't driven the Limited but the Rebel is a pleasure to drive. Personally I like the Rebel styling enough and the wheels and tires that it would win for me. I am sure those seemingly small higher end upgrades have utility for some and the HO engine may be awesome but not worth the $13k for me.

Limited headlights are no longer adaptive.
Two different trucks though, what's your realistic use, if primarily on the street, I'd go limited.
If you intend to offroad the truck, Rebel. Whether or not it's worth it is subjective, to me it is worth it but I have no interest in offroad use

Payload difference? I’m going to guess you get a higher payload with the Rebel.

Also, you CAN get surround cameras on the Rebel. Advanced safety group II.

Yeah the truck's I'm comparing don't have the the ASGII with the Rebel but that really only means you lose the surround view camera. I wonder how different the ride is with the Limited with ORG (since it has air standard) and the Rebel (ORG is standard) with air. I would think they'd ride the same essentially.

If you do even a small amount of off roading that involves bumps I wouldn't choose the limited. Nice truck and all, but even with the ORG its not nearly as capable. I also wouldn't want a panoramic sunroof while off roading. If you do more street/highway driving and general commuting, then I'd say spring for the limited if budget allows. On another note...I wouldn't want to HAVE to use 91 octane every time I was filling the tank. Thats just me though.

One thing to consider would be the AUTO setting on the transfer case on the Limited vs the Rebel

For me, I'd save the cash and go Rebel all the way. I don't need the Limited, Premium fuel or H.O.
